Ume Plums, Paste, and Concentrates
Umeboshi: A salted pickled pum usually aged for several years. Its nice zesty sour taste and salty flavor go well with many foods; it is used as a seasoning, in sauces, as a condiment, in beverages, and in many medicinal preparations.
Ume Plums, Japanese apricots, are also used in the making of Umeboshi vinegar, umeboshi paste, umeboshi concentrates.
